Most of the workers in the unit that I supervise have requested the day off. My immediate supervisor took the day off, so I felt good about doing the same. That's great that you volunteered to assist with the final preparations. My contribution to Obama's election were my sore feet after walking to everyone's home in PA to get out the vote.
